Today, I asked the following questions on Twitter: If a person is born deaf, what language do they speak in their brain and if they’re born blind, what do they see in their dreams ?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but nowadays, technology is everywhere. It has changed the way we connect with each other and even the way information spreads…
You may already know it by now. I ask myself A LOT of question and I couldn’t help but ask myself the following one today: Is our generation ADDICTED to the new technology and social media ?
We spend most of our daily lives attached to one if not more than one gadget starting with the computer/ Mac you’re using right now to read this article, your handy little smartphone/ iphone or even tablet. They are all, according to me, part of this widespread technology addiction that is taking over our lives every single day.
And truth be told, we are all in need of some sort of intervention to realize that we are indeed ADDICTED and shut our laptops and keep our phones away to spend some quality time with our families and loved ones !
Here are 3 signs you’re probably addicted to technology:
One of the sure signs you are addicted to technology is when you can’t stay away from Facebook or Twitter. Sometimes, it feels like you’re compelled to update your status or tweet at certain intervals throughout the day. And when you decide to go study or even sleep… Facebook and/ or Twitter will be right there looking at you and going like: "Uh, Uh, No, you are not leaving me now !"
Another telltale sign you are addicted to technology is when you text or whatsapp more than you actually talk. I know, I know, it’s much easier and it makes you feel in control of the amount of time you want a conversation to last. But if you find yourself texting constantly and neglecting real life family and friends, you need to step back from your gadgets because it is time for some face to face conversations !
Another one of the sure signs you’re addicted to technology is when you get separation anxiety as soon as you don’t have your gadget of choice or even worse your 3G/ WiFi connection isn’t working !
Do you ever get irritable or anxious when you can’t check your inbox or social media accounts ? Do you ask to borrow your friend’s phone just so you can check the lastest updates on Facebook or tweet something that just came to your mind.
Yes, you’re pretty much addicted !

According to Hind is one year old… It’s been a whole year and I won’t get all sappy on you and tell you what this journey has meant to me but I will tell you this: I have enjoyed it… Immensely !

Yes, you guessed it right ! Starting this week, I’ll be introducing you to a different Twitter/ Facebook friend with a great taste in Music.
And tonight I’ll be introducing you to the youngest and coolest girl I know in the Twittoma She goes by @Initials_BB_ but her full name is Bahiya Boumazzourh. Yesterday, I asked her to describe herself and suggest 10 songs she’s been listening to constantly lately and here’s what she had to say:

Well, event though I’m not really keen on talking about myself, I’m gonna give it a try, for you !
But first, French, English or Arabic ? Well, I don’t like to choose, so I’m just gonna use all of them, just as you did at the MWAs
Je m’appelle Bahiya, j’ai… 17 ans moins quelques petits jour (Mon anniversaire étant le 9 mai, you should take notes :p), et je suis en 1ère sciences exp (Je suis là un peu par défaut, étant donné que je déteste tout ce qui est relatif aux sciences, j’ai un profil plus "littéraire").
On me demande souvent d’ailleurs ce que j’ai envie de faire plus tard, but I’m really confused about my "future", I just can’t make such a decision at my age… Not that I’m not mature enough, but I’m just scared to choose the wrong path. J’ai quelques idées dans ma tête, mais rien n’est encore clair, il me faut du temps, et de l’encadrement (Ce dont manque terriblement l’enseignement marocain).
Bref, assez parlé d’études et de trucs sérieux, je vais passer à ce que j’aime dans la vie (Pour ne pas faire dans l’original): J’aime rencontrer de nouveaux gens, apprendre des langues, voyager, lire, sortir, et bien sûr DORMIR.
Peut-être que j’aime d’autres choses, mais j’estime que je ne me connais pas encore assez pour en parler !
Sinon, si je devais me définir en quelques mots, je dirais que je suis une personne ouverte, déterminée, et surtout optimiste.

I always convince myself that there is ALWAYS the bright part, and that nothing is completely dark. There is a light over there, but you just need to seek it inside YOU, because YOU are the master of your destiny.
I hate fatalistic people, I mean, if they fail they just think it’s because of "lmektab"… NO, it’s not ! If YOU fail, it’s all because of YOU. You didn’t have enough confidence, enough determination, or because you didn’t work hard enough.
Bref, j’arrête, tu m’as demandé un petit paragraphe sur moi, et là je m’égare !

And without any further ado, here’s this week’s Music Room:
I’m sure you’ve heard by now, but I’m going to say it again anyway: Morocco experienced an Earthquake in some cities like Kenitra, Rabat and Fez about three hours ago…
And in less than 30 seconds, my Facebook and Twitter feeds were trending with words like: Tremblement de terre, ZNZAL to some and ZLZAL to others, who were rolling their eyes thinking: "4,5? That’s a piece of cake", making jokes about Chuck Norris and even creating new Trolls that spread around the internet in the blink of an eye.
On to my story now: I was alone in my room chatting with my best friend on Facebook and half watching Dane Cook’s one man show. Then suddenly, my bed started to shake, I glanced to my bottle of water on my desk and it was rattling. My RIGHT BRAIN wondered: "What’s going on?" and my LEFT BRAIN loudly screamed: ‘Holly Chocolate, you’re going to die!".
I looked up and my little sister was at my door staring at me with wide eyes which made me laugh so hard. But I’m not going to lie, my knees were involontarily trembling slightly under my computer… Call me human !
7 seconds, that’s how long the quake lasted. 7 seconds of adrenalin-charged panic and a fleeting sense of finality, 7 seconds and it could have all been gone…
Now about 3 hours laters, I’m obviously still awake, wondering what it would be like to be dead and gone ? Questioning some things about myself and the people I care about the most and hoping that the whole "2012: Mayan Calendar" Aka "The End of the World theory" is nothing but a joke ! Because otherwise, I know at least five people who will happily scream and shout these two sentences in my face with an evil voice right before Planet Mars hits me: "I TOLD YOU HIND, you see? I TOLD YOU it was the end of the World ! "
To sum things up, tonight was an interesting night. That’s why I named it the "Pump it Up Night". And it may sound like a cliché to some of you but it made me feel so very small and so very much human.
Now I feel like going to my parents and my little sister and giving them the biggest family hug ever to remind them just how I much I love them.
